Spring Bulb Workshop

Sunday 8th March
10am - 12pm

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a relaxed, hands-on morning at Mothecombe Gardens.

This seasonal workshop begins with a gentle walk through the gardens, coffee in hand, as the first signs of spring emerge. Led by Martin, you’ll explore how bulbs are used throughout the gardens to create natural, long-lasting displays and support early pollinators.

You’ll then create your own spring bulb planter using a beautiful antique terracotta pot, filled with peat-free compost made here at Mothecombe Gardens. With expert, practical guidance throughout, you’ll learn how to plant spring bulbs to enjoy weeks of flowering indoors or out.

The morning includes tea, coffee and delicious cake, time to ask questions, and the pleasure of working with your hands in a calm, inspiring setting.

You’ll take home your finished planter, an elegant Mothering Sunday display for your kitchen table, and a terracotta pot designed to be reused and replanted for years to come.

All materials included.
