Discover Bee Verdant within the peaceful surroundings of the Flete Estate, just moments from the historic borders of Mothecombe Gardens. Our nursery opens with Mothecombe Gardens, every Tuesday from February to September, offering visitors the chance to explore, learn, and take home plants grown with care and purpose.

A visit to Bee Verdant is designed to be slow, personal, and inspiring. Wander the gardens first, see our plants thriving in their natural setting, and then browse our seed-grown collection—curated for pollinators, resilience, and timeless beauty. Whether you’re searching for a single plant to refresh a container or selecting varieties to fill a border, our knowledgeable team is on hand to help you choose with confidence.

Please note: If you’re wishing to visit and walk around Mothecombe Gardens, there is an entrance fee of £6.

Directions & Parking

Bee Verdant is located within Mothecombe Gardens, at the stable entrance. We are easy to find whether you are travelling locally or visiting from further afield.

Follow signs for Mothecombe beach car park, parking is within the beach car park. There are signs from the car park to the gardens entrance, where you will walk through Mothecombe village.

Parking

Parking is within Mothecombe beach car park, charges apply from April - October (discount will be applied to your garden entrance fee, if you have paid for parking).
It is possible to drop-off and pick-up, outside Mothecombe Gardens entrance.

Accessibility Information

We want all visitors to enjoy their experience at Bee Verdant and Mothecombe Gardens. Our shop is set by the gardens entrance, where it is flat and accessible for wheelchair users.
