Hyacinth ‘Aiolos’
A beautifully scented white hyacinth for Christmas and early spring.
Hyacinth ‘Aiolos’ produces dense spires of crisp white flowers with the unmistakable, heady fragrance of hyacinths. Elegant and wonderfully traditional, it’s a lovely choice for bringing something living and seasonal into the house through winter.
Specially prepared bulbs can be planted in autumn and brought indoors for flowering around Christmas, making a beautiful alternative to Paperwhites. Plant them in a favourite pot or bowl, either individually or grouped together for a fuller display.
Keep the planted bulbs somewhere cool and dark while they establish, before bringing them gradually into the light and warmth as the flower shoots develop. Once in bloom, a cooler room will help the flowers last longer.
