Verbascum 'Flush of White'

from £4.25

Verbascum ‘Flush of White’

Elegant, airy and wonderfully easy to place, Verbascum ‘Flush of White’ sends up slender stems of pure white flowers, each with a warm golden centre. The delicate, fluttering blooms rise above neat rosettes of glossy green foliage, bringing height and movement without feeling heavy.

Flowering through summer, it works beautifully woven through sunny borders, gravel gardens and relaxed cottage-style planting. We particularly love it alongside ornamental grasses, salvias and soft pink perennials, where its white flowers provide a fresh contrast.

Although naturally short-lived, it may gently self-seed when happy, appearing in unexpected gaps and creating a wonderfully natural feel. Deadheading faded flower spikes can encourage further flowers.

Plant in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, it is drought tolerant and particularly well suited to coastal gardens.
